Mechanical PTO

The WPT® mechanical power take-off consists of a lever actuated clutch with a shaft and bearings mounted in a rigid cast housing. It is designed for in-line and side load applications on internal combustion engines with standard SAE industrial flywheel/flywheel housing dimensions.

  • Available in 12 different sizes
  • Sealed-for-life pilot bearings eliminate lubrication problems
  • Ball bearing throwout collars come as standard on the 311 PTO and are optional on the 10 inch, 11.5 inch, 14 inch and 18 inch clutches
  • A heavy duty, laminated, gear tooth friction disc is available for heavy shock load applications that require extra friction disc tooth strength
  • All drive rings are made of ductile (nodular) iron or steel
  • Roller pilot bearings in selected sizes are available for higher side load requirements

 Pilotless mechanical PTO

The WPT® pilotless mechanical power take-off is designed to eliminate the pilot bearing and increase side load capacity over previous generations of PTO products. It will optimize your costs by reducing inventory, simplifying installation, increasing uptime and engine life.
